Illegals? I would be more worried about the minutmen. I have come across border runners in the past. They cant get away from you fast enuff. Freaks me out that they dont get bite by a snake or fall in a ditch and die! I only go out herpin at night, usually on a new moon. It is black as hell if you turn out the lights! Just remember to bring your ID and a valid fishing license and you should be ok. Also dont stray away from your car to check out what might be a good snake spot with the keys still in the ignition!
