Recently, my ball python hasn't been interested in eating and I'm not sure why. This has been going on since christmas, and I still have yet to get him to eat...and I'm beginning to worry.

At first I figured it was just because it was cold, and when it warmed up he would begin to eat again--but he still shows no interest in actually eating it. He shows no signs of being lethargic or weak from not eating, so at first I really didn't think much of it, but the longer it went on--the more I began to worry slightly..seeing how I figure a snake can't go on not eating forever--he has to eat sometime.

Recently I've been buying frozen mice from PetSmart & Petco, and I wonder if the change in mice has something to do with it. Usually when I feed him, I set the frozen mice up on top of the screen and let it defrost before warming it up with a blow dryer and usually that does the trick...but it hasn't been working this time.
Ginko, my snake, has been showing some interest in the mouse, usually when the blow dryer is on and it's being warmed up, but the moment it's turned off and I offer him the mouse, he gives it a few flicks with his tongue before simply avoiding it as if it's not appealing or interesting to him at all.

I recently lost one of my bigger snakes, but me and my mom are pretty sure that he died of old age...still--I wish I knew what was wrong with Ginko so I could get him to eat...I really don't wish to jump to conclusions over something that may not be all that serious--especially since I don't really know a good vet whose specialized in reptiles at the point--I haven't had very much luck with looking so far.

Please help, and thank you.

Ginko22

P.S Sorry it's a bit long.
