Hello all,
I have a 3 1/2 y/o Ball Python who has been refusing food. He has been a pretty good eater most of his life, but he has a couple times gone a month or refusing food. I was patient with him, and always managed to get him eating again. He is healthy.. proper temps, and hydration, and not shown any ill signs. He just won't eat, and for the last month it hasn't been a major concern, but he is starting to show the down side of not eating which is losing weight. I have always fed him F/T and the proper size. A couple weeks ago I even tried to lure him to eat with a live rat, but he wouldn't touch it. I have tried several times, and have left him quietly overnight, but he still won't eat. I am starting to get very concerned, so anyone who can offer suggestions or words of advice it will be greatly appreciated. I have two other BP's as well as Boa's and none of them have any ill health, or unwilling to eat.
Thank you to all who respond,
Faster
