Sheeding in hognose is not so clear in every cases. My female laid eggs without shed. You don`t must worry about shed a lot. In breedeing I use this method: one day male with female, 3 day rest, in first day of rest I feed female and from time to time male.

I put male to the female only if she is interested. She must shake her body when she saw him.
