normal?

I got this little guy today. He is a captive hatch. I didn't know if maybe he was a pastel. His color on his back is very gold and then it goes into an orange then pink. His belly is patternless. What I thought was weird is the top 1/2 of his eyes are light colored. I couldn't get him to hold still long enough to get a good shot.
