I would personally seperate the pair until you can find someone to probe them and seperate them for sure if it's not a pair. Weather it's a male and female or not it is strange that it occurs only when you open the cage. I would be inclined to think it is a feeding response triggered by you opening the cage and by the movement of the smaller one but since the larger one isn't feeding right now kills that thought. | ||
