I feel your pain.

Animal rescue is full of ups and downs. Luckily in the long run there are generally more ups, so don't give up.

I took in 2 dragons that were abandoned at another rescue last fall. Their names were Raxx and Rhea. When I first saw them I was appalled. They were both 6 years old and around 18". Raxx weighed about 210 and Rhea weighed only 187. I had never seen such emaciated dragons and didn't think they had much of a chance. Sadly Raxx succumbed about 10 days later.

Rhea was the fighter. Rhea turned out to be a hea, not a shea. So now I have a 7 year old 450 gram boy named Rhea. He is just about the sweetest a dragon can be and was well with the time and effort to continue his life.
