Congrats! I went out in this heat & saw one DOR ground Skink. Depressing. Even my favorite turtle basking spot had 2 sliders.

Plus, I didn't realize I was ill, so I worked into a nice case of Sinus infection trying to turn into Bronchitis. as Usual. late in the year, but apparently all over town. Guess I'm not missing much. Soon as the mercury hits 100% here, every herp vanishes.

& That is a Prarie Racerunner ( don't have the guide handy for the correct binomial!).
