I am in Dallas and we keep the house at 74 (my wife, kids and dogs). I can close off the vent so it may stay closer to 76-78. I'm an idiot for not being prepared and to do this is very not like me. It looks like the heat tape will be here Wed or Thur so I should be able to have them in seperate racks by Thursday evening.

I do have an insulated garage with an air condition vent going into it. It stays a consistant 85 during the day and 81-83 at night. I could put them in seperate tubs with the lids on, put some wood over each tub, and stack them so they cannot escape. Their are two cockatiels in the garage (in a cage of course), would that be a problem for 3 days? Of course the tubs have holes in them. This maybe my best bet.
