We use the larger 15x11x7 insulated shipping box with 3/4" foam. The large box allows more available air for a longer period of time, if the package is delayed. But the main reason is to maintain better temps in the box. Here in Arizona I have to use cold packs due to the 100+ degree temps in the summer and I don't want the ice pack to close to the snake in the box. Works the same when we use heat packs in winter. It may be over kill, but it has been working for us for years now. | ||
