Oh, it only made it worse when I found out that the lady was the mother of one of the girls my twin daughters go to school with. That timber rattler was beautiful. It was around 3' long and looked like it had shed not to long before she ran over it. Some dogs came and drug it jut of the road and ate it. I was hopping that they would get punctured by one of the teeth and get envenomated. I see people run snakes over all the time and want to call them in, but nothing would be done to them except for a slap on the wrist down here in TN. Just because its a snake, people are affraid of them and they're ignorant. Even if it were endangered I don't think it would matter.
