Yeah, I know the people at The Bean Farm are pretty knowledgable. I would think that covering the entire surface of the Flexwatt with foil tape and taping the Helix thermostat probe on top of the foil tape would ensure that the entire surface is the same temperature. I was just curious to see what the majority of people do. Also, my tubs are fairly tight so the foil would provide good protection.
