Can I keep anything in a cage this size?

I just got this old but very sturdy wooden pet carier that is 1' 4"X 1'7"X 1'4". I know its small but I though I might be able to keep somthing in it. Please note that I'm still a little new to herps so I couldn't keep anything to hard. Thanks for any advice.
