couple of questions...

Can this carrier be turned on it's side so the height becomes the length, or does the door or ventilation prevent this?



Also, what is the ventilation like and are you willing to modify it?



The latter question may determine what can be housed in the cage safely and whether or not the prey items can escape.



How escape proof the cage is is something you will probably need to determine for yourself, however.
