Isn't it well recognized that when many balls reaching 10-12 months of age will go into the juvenile no-eat stage?

It has been very common in my experience. The hatchlings will be excellent eaters that are ready and waiting for that food item every week. Then they get close to the year mark and they start to turn their noses up to any offer of food.
Very frustrating!
