I found one crossing the road many years ago that looked like a log from far away as I got closer I noticed the log was disapearing into the grass. I speeded over to it and the thing was so big I was afraid to grab it, but I knew I had to cause it was mostly in the grass by then. I snatched it and it was definately the thickest Yellow I had ever seen. About as thick as my arm, no lie. I never actually measured it but it was huge. I was most impressed with it's girth than it's length but I would guess at least 6 feet. But boy was he hefty. I wish I had taken pics of him, I don't remember if I did but I can't find any.
