Raz just tanked up today:
Fu Dog:
Hibiscus flowers, mustard greens, collard greens, and tomatoes... that I grow myself, organic yellow squash, and some sweet fruit dragon mix stuff I picked up.
This may seem crazy and you may think I'm full of it. But dragons are very compelling to me. Even though they only have an instinctual brain stem cognitive mechanism. I believe they have the capacity to feel and to a small extent understand love.
I have been working with my dragons awhile. And Fu Dog is the thee absolute sweetest dragon you could ever imagine. He loves to have his sunflower rubbed... (top of head looks like a sunflower scales go around in a circle on the top of head/nose) when I rub him there he closes his eyes and seems to smile.
Sometimes I will wrap him in a towel and hold him close to my chest... after bathing. I do this with all my dragons. H once again closes his eyes and seems so at peace. They know that you are their care taker and form a bond with you.
I think it's just the familiarity of seeing you day to day as their feeder and source of food etc. Some are more laid back and seemingly loving than others. Some dragons are very reptilian in their actions and seem to be cold blooded to the bone. Almost as if they cant stand you. But they are still sweet.
Once in awhile you get a rare dragon that is just so amazingly calm and assertive that it is a true pleasure to own them. Fu Dog is amazing!
Had Raz outside over the weekend. He was looking all around in awe of the outdoors. I kept him in a relatively shady area.
I used to keep snakes and had them all my life. The BDs have so much more personality and depth of character for me.
enjoy the pics
cheers
