Here's a story of interest and an ironic laugh...One of America's foremost "Green" philanthropists PROFITING from animal products and sustainable development. My question is where is the hard-hitting, undercover Info-Documentary by the HSUS of this operation? Imagine, the slaughter of "innocent bison" for the purpose of making burgers for sale and PROFIT and in partnership with a BIG-BUSINESS restaurant chain (very bottom of the first article link).
Well, it's nice to know that the Endangered Species Act was good for something. It helped a former endangered species of the American plains to be "recovered" to the point where Americans can see it: ON THEIR DINNER PLATES with PROFITS to the selected PROFITEERS of the "green" ECO movement!
"In January 2002, Turner opened the first Ted's Montana Grill in Columbus, Ohio with his partner, George W. McKerrow Jr., founder of the Longhorn Steakhouse chain and several other successful restaurants. Ted's Montana Grill offers classic American comfort food, including bison or beef burgers, in an authentic Montana bar and grill atmosphere. Ted's Montana Grill expects to open up to forty more restaurants in the next few years."
Oh those poor Bison being raised for meat! HSUS, where are you to save the Bison from the "GREEN" PROFITEERING of one of your OWN KIND? PETA, when are you going to show up in front to the restaurant in protest? I won't hold my breath...
What an absurdity!

By the way, note who is the largest landholder in the state of New Mexico? Why it's none other than the 1.0 Billion dollar benefactor of UNEP (United Nations Environmental Program)...Of note here is I wonder what his energy "portfolio" will be AFTER Cap-and-Trade is passed? As the church lady would say, isn't that special?
Later,
Jim.
PS: Note the Bison in the background behind the philanthropist standing in the foreground... ----- CSRAJim
