In spite of Ted Turner's politics which I disagree with I have to say that what this man has done for the conservation of not only American Bison but also for the Mexican Grey Wolf and the Bolson's tortoise is absolutely exemplary.
If Ted Turner wants to make some money from his bison I have absolutely no problem with it. If I did I would be a hypocrite on several different levels since not only do I breed reptiles and occasionally try to make money from doing so, but I also absolutely LOVE bison meat. It is hands down better than beef and it is much lower in fat and cholesterol than beef (as is venison which I also love.) and if Ted Turner happens to read this post and out of the goodness of his heart sees fit to fly here in his "black helicopter" and drop a large care package of bison meat in my yard that is fine with me. If the black helicopter people don't already have my address they can e-mail me and I'll give it to them and send them one of those google satellite pictures of my house so they know they have the right one  .
