Calparsoni,
I disagree with his politics as well...On virtually EVERY level. Especially his obvious participation in the UN's "Biosphere Reserve Program"...Ted's lands are in the BUFFER ZONE (e.g. permitted activities are timber, energy, eco-tourism, food production, water, etc) but that's an entirely different post...
I don't have a problem with Ted's making a profit either...The problem I have is that he's one of the excluded special interests that are driving "stuff" behind the scenes (as most every other very wealthy person has done for centuries) and without scrutiny...on the other hand, the ECO wacko's file lawsuits to prevent ranching on public lands (as was the deal way back when for them to give up their lands to the government)...
So the hypocriscy is that it's OK for Ted because he's an avid supporter and FUNDER of the international "green" movement but it's not OK for others...And he's partnered with the dreaded BIG-BUSINESS CAPITALISTS? Really...
All in all, I'd love to try a bison burger as there's nothing better than wild venison fresh from the woods! The irony here is that the very thing that COULD benefit most terrestrial endangered species is the very thing that ONLY the "selected" and "approved" people are allowed to do - and banned for everybody else. It's the selective application of law that gets me...
Later,
Jim. ----- CSRAJim
