the pink is normal for a little while with pieds anyway as for being dehydraited ive not really heard of this fresh out of the egg but a little warm soak wont hurt! & may even help i have seen them come out that way before though. tough to say without pics i cant picture how dehydraited he/she looks but it may just be a case of being a few days early! hopefully it will be fine! regards
