Haha, yeah I actually did used to do that when I was a kid and my mother would have one of her "episodes" and tell me to get rid of my snakes or not to buy any more.
I just used an appropriately sized Sterilite and a regular heating pad, placed securely and strategically in my closet. At one point, I had my whole collection in there...like 10 or 12 various Python species. Haha!
Obviously not your ideal keeping scenario, but if you're anything at all like me, you're gonna do it anyway. So rest assured that it CAN be done. Just be careful with your heat source. Don't set anything on fire! ie: Don't place a heating pad directly on carpet with the snake's box on top of it. Use a piece of plywood or something else underneath it. Also make sure the lid is secure, obviously (duct tape). And don't let anyone in your closet. If you don't do your own laundry already, now's the perfect time to learn.
