So I caved and got one of these when I saw it at the store. I've always wanted one and finally found one close to home.

The snake is 8 inches long, and a little more sluggish than I'd like, but then again she's been under no UV besides window light. She came in with another one that died within a few weeks (I'm assuming parasites) but this one they had had for over a month, eats and poops okay and has apparently grown a little for them. I'm hoping she doesn't have internal parasites, she seems okay but that doesn't put me at ease.

I thought I knew pretty well how to care for them, but once I got home and started to brush up on them, there was a lot of contradicting information.

I'll eventually have her in a 29 gallon, but how big are these actually supposed to get? I thought 2 - 3 feet but I only read up to 25 inches. And in terms of humidity, I've read everything from 70-80% like my BRBs to keep them dry to prevent blisters.

Also, anyone know if these are easy to sex outside of popping? I'm not comfortable doing that on something that small and easily stressed, but I'd love to give breeding them a try someday since there are so few CBB out there.

Thanks for any info anyone can give me
