87 to 89 then theoretically they will take 62 days to pip....
....my temps run all over the place maybe....you set incubator up and it all stays at 90 -ish then after you have it full of eggs it might change...but I stop checking after a couple weeks....and then as the temps outside grow higher and higher...like 100 today....it changes stuff....
....my corn eggs and all were from 78 to 88 all the time...up and down and up and down....used to think it mattered and killed them and made freaks....since my temps started peaking and dropping my freaks ratio dropped....alot.....!...used to get a dozen to 3 dozen freaks a year...(worst was NO head...and alive with a herniated septum to boot...heart and mungs visably working...yet the no head...just a little bitty brain stem bump)...eeeew....
......want another experiment....I dropped a box of eggs on the floor a few weeks ago...corns...about 30 ...some dropped in clumps about 18 inches to the table...others dropped 4 foot and rolled all over the place.....they look good all but 3...and I had no idea which end was up on the loose eggs....we see in a couple weeks what happens....(they were 3 -3 1/2 weeks into incubation when I dropped them.......I know another guy that dropped a box years ago...it is said his all hatched)..!...first box I ever dropped in 20 years.....hopefully the last.... .
