Yes, that is pretty much what I figured too about the eye color. Not real apparent until closer inspection, and nowhere near a bright red eye as in true T-neg. amels.

I had a leucistic Texas Rat a while back that had such deep red eyes, they almost looked black, not like "pink-eyed" leucies(which are double homozygous T-neg. amel x leucism), but something weird in between..LOL!

I think those little gems you have there are some of the coolest obsoleta morphs to hit the hobby to be quite honest.

Can't wait to see what the two different looks mature into!. Great pic too!
