I would have to agree with jay. Wobbles are very common with spiders and combos that include spiders; however, I would have a hard time being convinced that it is the cause of death. As someone how has a small collection and have had the misfortune of losing an animal, I can tell you that I have had animals that looked healthy and young who died (less then 5 years old). It sucks, but the real solution is to get a necropsy done, and see what comes back (which sometimes may not come back with anything more valuable then what you could observe from looking at the specimen). I don't want to sound like I am jumping on you during your time of loss, but I was very concerned about head wobbles before I got my bumble bee and contacted many major breeders about it, and never found a report from them that said it is fatal. My guess is there was something going on internally that never appeared to surface, which is the real cause of death. You must remember, even in captivity these animals live by the rules of survival, which says only the strong survive so if you are sick you try to hide it as best as possible.
I am truly sorry for your loss, and trust me really know how you feel, I hope that you can continue to find a joy in this hobby and not hold this against all spider gene carriers.
