And the holier than thou Do-gooders corner the market with certified "Self-righteously Resold Do-gooder Pets".
And then down the road, in order to own one of their lovingly recycled pets (something their Gestapo Squads more than likely confiscated) will amount to buying into a franchise, allowing only their approved products and procedures, otherwise you'll fall from grace. Your blasphemy will no doubt relegate your charge to eternal Hell and Damnation.
