The soap and water may have done the trick for a reluctant western I acquired. I thawed a fuzzy as normal, washed and rinsed it well and then soaked it in about 2tbsp of tuna juice for 15 or 20 minutes, gave it a quick rinse and dry and the hog (male, mostly grown) snapped it right up ending a 3 month feeding strike.
I honestly couldn't be sure if it was that process or something else (length of off-feed, time since last offering, temp change or whatnot) but I'm definitely adding it to the list of things to try.
