Where do you feed him at? I have a female normal that does this. I place her in a small tub with a locking lid. Even though she drops the rat, eventually she must find it because she ultimately eats it. I have found that leaving the room (thus why the tub lid must lock) encourages her to eat the rat sooner rather than later. I think it might have something to do with them feeling insecure about the vulnerable position they are in when trying to feed. ----- Lincoln, NE
