You can look through the KS classifieds to get a feel for the morphs that are available and the kinds of prices they go for. Make up a list of the ones you like best in the $1000 or under price range. I'd personally go for one or two nice quality balls rather than try to buy a whole breeding group and spread your money thin on a bunch of normals or single morphs. But that's me.
