Hey there, If you are gonna pop for some Morphs and want to make the most of your money now there is a couple of ways to go about getting more for your money and they are almost 180 degrees apart. First off you can do it the longer but a bit cheaper way of buying some male orphs which can be raised to breeding size in a year or so and then buy several Mormal females that are already breeding size to breed them with and make your own Morph babies or you can forget the male Morphs for a couple of years and invest in the females which take you more or less 3 years to raise to breeding size and then get some male morphs about 2 yrs from now so they are all maturing into breeding animals about the same time. It depends how soon you want to make your own babies but I would opt for the female morphs now and feed them well for 2 or 3 years and then get my males. If you want to spend $1000 you should be able to pick up maybe 3 to 5 or 6 morph females depending on what you get. You know of course you can spend anything from $150 per female to several thousand depending on what you want to do so as SlytherLyn said get what you want and if you get them all from the same breeder you should be able to work out a much better deal. I would throw out some things to you like Pastel, Super Pastel, Lesser, Enchi, Bumblebee, Spider, Woma and a number of other things for you to consider. Just remember not to buy your males right now unless you are getting male Morphs and larger female Normals to breed sooner because until your females are big enough to breed you are just spending extra money to feed the males that you dont need to be spending(coming from a guy that did exactly that because no one told me different). If I have confused you after the slushy or two that I have had this afternoon while fishing just drop me an email. Dont forget to shop prices like Lyn said so you know what fair prices are before yougo throwing your money around at a show and buying more from the same breeder should give you a good additional discount.
