...but then beauty is a very subjective thing based entirely on the opinion of the beholder. Found this 3.5 foot gal in my yard the other evening. One of the pissy-er Sonoran's I've encountered around here too with a few "battle scars" to boot.







Contrast the individual above with the local Sonoran that I have raised up from a baby (but then my bias shows). Of all Pits, I favor the gopher complex most and among all gophers, Sonoran's are where-it's-at for me. Here's a couple of "Redwood-the-Sonoran" enjoying some outside time with me one morning in late June.
