Last year I hatched out 3 Double Het PPA x Axanthic males this last December and it's been interesting to see how all 3 are a bit different from each other, especially the 2nd male (wh-09.3.2) who doesn't have the typical banding on the top of his head but instead has speckling.

So, I was curious if anybody else has produced or seen any other Westerns that exhibit this type of lack of patterning on top of the head.

Here's some pictures:

WH-09.3.1

WH-09.3.2 (This is the one I'm talking about)

WH-09.3.3

I also have a small clutch of PPA x Axanthic eggs that are currently incubating and should be due to hatch sometime within the first half of August. I was hesitant to post these earlier as the eggs took, what I thought was, a long time to develop any vascular system viewable by candling. Normally I see veins within the first 3-8 days, but these eggs didn't start to show any signs of veins until 14-18 days.

Thanks for looking!
