Posted by: cid143ti at Sat Jul 17 02:52:40 2010 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cid143ti ] I hate to bring this up again if it has already been discussed (I know the lesser/mojave has been numerous times) but I have been thinking about how they influence other morphs...anyway, here it goes. I know that the lesser pied is a solid white snake. But, from what I gather, the mojave pied is not a solid white snake...is that right? Anyway, if the mojave/lesser are different alleles of the same trait wouldn't one expect that they would react in a similar fashion with other morphs. If so, then why did the lesser pied come out as an all white snake while the mojave pied did not? Has the butter pied (and others on the lesser spectrum crossed with pied) been produced? If so, what was the outcome? I thought I was "okay" with the lesser complex stuff until the lesser pied through me for a loop. Any if would help. | ||
