I am not sure what posts you are refering to that have been removed. There have been a handful of posts pulled since April and all were for major TOS violations. Quite honestly I personally feel off topic discussions are important to fostering the community as a whole. I can not however comment on actions prior to November 2009, however from that point forward, I will say with out a doubt that off topic discussions have not been pulled.



However back to the topic at hand of the ROW and such. Personally I think this is just as on topic is S373 and HR211 discussions are on say the boa or burmese forum. They directly impact the keepers of those species.



As long as a post does not directly violate the TOS is can be as far off topic as humanly possible. Part of a community is expanding and getting to know each other.



No cursing, no selling, no attacking and please for my sake, no spitting on the floor.



BTW the moderator is not on vacation, and even when I am I always take you guys along for the ride. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email however.
