Slowly, bloodred is being used to specifically refer to animals that are homozygous for only one trait (diffused) and line bred for deep reds with very little pattern. Thus, bloodred isn't "just" a simple recessive trait. It's like sunglows. Those are amels specifically bred to have little to no white, and vibrant colors. An animal cannot be het sunglow... but can be het amel from sunglow lines. The same with ROs. | ||
