So you are saying when the scientists go in to survey an area, they may unwittingly be carrying chytrid. Hence the, species being wiped out as fast as they are discovered?



I believe scientists have documented this actually happening already and supposedly they now take steps to try to prevent it. I wonder how often it still happens though.
