The problem is that animal control doesn't know the difference between a healthy iguana and a sick one. They can't can't distinguish between a milk snake and a coral, or a ratsnake and cobra. If they can label you as a horder and take all your snakes, they will do so. To many of them keeping any reptile is a horrid thing, regardless of the animals condition.
