One of my female BP's has an RI. I do not know if she has had it for a while or just got it. I noticed bubbles coming out of her mouth and sniffle-like sound on Wed night and took her to the vet on Thur. I have her in another room on the other side of my house and so far, I cannot hear or see any other RI's on my other 9 BP's that were in the same rack as her.

The vet gave her an injection of fluids to rehydrate her (she hasn't eaten since I got her 7 weeks ago and has lost 100g's) and he gave her a shot of Baytril. He also gave me 4 Baytril shots to give to her every other day, which I gave her one today. I upped her hot spot temp to 93-94 and the only water in her tub is her water bowl. Humidity is about 50% and the cool side of the tub is 77-78 (I cannot get it any warmer).

I understand RI's are life threatening, but since I did get her to the vet, on meds, and I am doing everything I can as far as good husbandry for RI's......is it very likely she will be ok? The vet was an older gentleman and he kind of had the attitude, "if" she survives. I know NOT to put her back in the rack for at least a month and after her symptoms are gone for at least 2-3 weeks.
