I have a question! About BRB colors.

Hey, I am a new Brazilian Rainbow Boa owner. I recently bought a year old BRB but I have a question regarding his color. Right now he is looking more brown than I had hoped. I was wondering, does the BRB's color change or get brighter as they age? If anyone could send me some yearling/adult comparison pics that would be great!
