Yes, Howie is a friend of mine, and his are genuine amel yellow rats.



But I'm with Kevin on the validity of any genuine amel Everglades Rats in the hobby. The "bubble gums" originated back around 1990 or so From Bill Love who introduced the amel Black rat into the three-way cross of Black, Yellow and Everglades ratsnakes. So there has been PLENTY of time for their genes to have floated around to many projects out there, and back-bred, etc.....LOL!
