I have been bringing my bullsnakes outside intermittently for the past few years. They either stay in a large outdoor enclosure or they are allowed to roam around under close supervision.

I had my largest 66 incher out to bask in the grass today. He was moving around near a bird feeder that was recently set up. There is also a small hummingbird feeder with sugar water near there as well.

A pair of hummingbirds flew up to the snake and were hovering around him while I was sitting just a few yards away. They seemed more curios than alarmed. Not too long after that a few cardinals perched above him in a tree and made a bit of noise. Then around 15 black birds(starlings maybe?) started flying around above us.

I quickly brought him in but it was really cool to see that behavior.
