Bart - I recall and appreciated your comment (I read just about all YOUR posts) regarding the epiglottis, just didn't post a reply in that particular case, probably because I had nothing to offer other than a thank you, which brings up a point.
I realize that many who view don't comment at all, others comment very sparingly. To each his/her own but without replies and follow-ups the forum loses most of its value. As a regular consumer of this resource I try to offer at least some feedback to posts which interest me, even when I feel lazy or non-verbal , not only as a courtesy to others whose contributions I appreciate, but to maintain the momentum if nothing else.
There are a couple things which frustrate me but on which I will not pass judgement as certainly no one here has any commitment or obligation to abide as I might wish.
1. When a poster fails to acknowledge and respond to questions regarding his/her post, as I think that a poster, in hosting a thread, would wish to respect and honor sincere expansion of his/her contribution.
2. When I go to the trouble to carefully address a question or concern and receive no reply whatsoever, at least to acknowledge that the person to whom the reply was directed, read it.
...another thing that bugs me but for which I can't blame anyone is when no one even acknowledges a post such as this one which by me is an attempt to encourage thoughtful discussion. ...let's see if anyone even replies to this
...all O/T I know. -----
