I'd add a third category -- linebred morphs, like pastel in boa constrictors or Okeetee in corns.

The original platy daddy could be classed as a wild caught designer morph, IMO.

When you write your article, please run it by me or somebody who knows genetics lingo. There are getting to be major differences between how the textbooks use the terms and how herpers use them.
