no offense taken. it is not really a problem inbreeding ball pythons or any other reptile just a couple generations. It becomes a major factor when you do it many generations. I know people who have run into massive birth defects with leopard geckos, bearded dragons and other lizards as well as the eye problems with albino boas and the kinking in caramel ball pythons.

I took two animals that while they were siblings, the odds the parents were related is pretty slim. But the answer is, I dont know and nobody knows yet. I will do it again next season and that will tell us much more. Until then it could be one of many many things. You have to keep in mind that "morphs" is a nice way of saying "mutation" and most mutations are birth defects and negative. So this could have come from combining the two animals dna and there may have just been too much damage to chromosomes or other building blocks. Who knows?
