CRB- Pink Belly / shed cycle

Hello all, I am curious. My CRB (1 year old) gets a Pink/ Orange/ or 'Salmon' color on her stomach at the start of her shed cycle, about a week before she gets foggy eyed, it last for 4 days or so disappears and 3 to 4 days later gets the foggy look (makes her look an awesome purple)and sheds 3 to 4 days later. This happens regularly almost every 6 weeks on the dot. Is this the norm? The nice thing is that she is has a great temperament and eats throughout the entire cycle, in fact I have yet to have refuse a meal.
