Awesome artical. I really enjoyed it. I work at a nature center in Louisiana that has a large collection of reptiles. I take care of about 40 snakes here. One of them is a retired breeder LA pine from this program. Its exciting to see the LA pines getting some light. I'd love to see a reintroduction of our black pines too.

A side note, we also have a gopher tortoise. We all know they are suffering from alot of the same problems as the LA pines (longleaf savannah destruction).
