I would suspect an anery/axanthic black would keep the contrasting silver/grey background with darker blotches its entire life and not darken much. Similar to the amels keeping pattern and not turning more solid colored. Could be some affect these recessive genes have on melanism/diffusion of coloration from the blotches to the background. Even amel yellows keep the blotches and do not typically form the striped pattern of a normal. I would bet if Misti holds onto those suspect anerys/axanthics, they will stay clean and similar to what they look like now.
