reduced lateral blotching?

The anacondas I've seen online seem to have a reduction or absence of lateral blotching on each side. Although difficult to tell from the angle of the shots, the pictured snake seems to have normal represenation of lateral blotching, despite dorsal saddles that seem somewhat reduced.

Is reduced lateral markings a true characteristic of anacondas or are some now being produced that look closer to this snake?

Thanks,
Adam
