They are a snake used to colder weather, therefore have a slower digestive system. With this in mind smaller meals are better. I have never weighed my meals for my snakes. I have several Bull Snakes, a couple of Gofers. Pines when young can be a little bit sensitive to over feeding. Make the meal no larger than the thickest part of the snakes body. Once a week should be just fine. If you want them to size up a little quicker make it once every 4 days but make sure it is a meal smaller than the snakes belly. [ Hide Replies ]
